What is adaptive blacklist?

Automatically finds sending-related IPs for a domain and scans DNSBLs. SPF ip4 (include expansion) first, then MX A. Free: 8 IPs + shortened DNSBL set; Pro: 32 IPs + full catalog.

True “adaptive” learns new ESP IPs from a DMARC RUA mailbox. IPTOOL does not host mailboxes — paste XML source IPs on the DMARC RUA page.

Frequently asked questions

What does adaptive mean here?

IPs are found from the domain (SPF/MX) instead of typed by hand. True ESP churn learning needs an RUA mailbox; this tool is DNS discovery.

Why scan MX?

It is the receive-path IP; sometimes it overlaps outbound. SPF ip4 is preferred.
